Types of Visa

For leisure, the B-2 visa lets you enjoy Chicago for up to 6 months. The B-1 is for business trips, requiring event details. Citizens from 39 countries can use ESTA for 90-day visits. With J-1, work or study after securing proper sponsorship.

Visa Requirements

Keep a passport valid for six months beyond your Chicago stay. Visa Waiver citizens need an approved ESTA for travel. Have return or onward travel evidence, and show you can fund your stay with bank statements, pay slips, or sponsorship letters.
